The Callander Resilience Group is an offshoot organization of Climate Action Callander (CAC) intended to help raise awareness of actions and services available to locals in the event of an emergency. Group members also discuss the steps Callander locals will need to make in the future to take preventative measures.

    Local flood research carried out by Stirling University allowing for a meeting with local authorities on the 20th of February 2024 to discuss land use and weather patterns, as well as the current flood prevention scheme.

    Attending the meeting were: Stirling Council, Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, SEPA, Scottish Water, Callander Flood Group, a landowner and members of CAC.

    Landscape architect Sheena Raeburn, and artist Orla Stevens were also in attendance to creatively interpret adapting to future climate changes. The cards below illustrated by Orla Stevens identify a range of key words and topics spoken about in this meeting relating to local resilience.
